The Great Outdoors
Take it all in at the summit of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts’ highest peak, or hit the slopes at nearby Jiminy Peak. Hike a section of the Appalachian Trail, or take Route 2 over the Hairpin Turn to visit one of many Berkshire Natural Resources Council sites.

Arts and Culture
MCLA students are a stone’s throw from MASS MoCA, the nation’s largest museum of contemporary art. (Make sure you stop at MCLA’s own Gallery 51 on the way.) The Clark Art Institute, Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival are all easily accessible from campus.

Explore the Berkshires
MCLA plays a vital part in the Berkshires’ economic and cultural landscape. Our students intern at nearly every major company, nonprofit, and public organization, and our alumni are key players in conversations around education, culture, the arts, and economic development.
