Criminal Justice Minor

Description and Requirements

The Criminal Justice Minor offers students an introduction to correctional counseling and law enforcement based on a liberal arts foundation and capped by a field placement experience.  The minor consists of 18 credits.

SOCI 100 Introduction to Sociology
SOCI 201 Social Problems
SOCI 351 Criminology
SOCI 540 or SOWK 540 Sociology Social Work Internship (required to complete the minor) 
Two Approved Criminal Justice Electives one at 300 level or higher
