MOSAIC is MCLA’s community-centered cultural events program, dedicated to bringing people together through artistic and cultural exchange. By fostering understanding and highlighting shared experiences, MOSAIC helps strengthen the connections that define our communities.
Through exhibitions, performances, workshops, readings, lectures, and discussions, MOSAIC offers inclusive, diverse, and accessible public events—free and open to all—that encourage dialogue between communities, artists, faculty, and students.

Upcoming Event Spotlight: The Garden of Memory

On View: Feb. 6–April 11, 2026
Opening Reception: Friday, Feb. 6, 5-7 p.m.
Performance: Friday, March 6, 6:30 p.m.
TIn The Garden of Memory, artist Junli Song invites viewers to enter into the In-Between Cosmos with an immersive installation. What happens to souls when they die? This site-specific installation explores one of her personal mythologies that arose from wondering and dreaming this question into being. The exhibition will be accompanied by a performance that will bring this narrative to life within the space during the first Friday in March.

EventSpace is a mixed use venue for lectures, community gatherings, film screenings, and more.

Gallery 51
Gallery 51 exhibits work from a wide range of emerging to mid-career contemporary artists from around the world.
Tuesday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Artists in Residence
At least two times a year, once each semester, Artists in Residence are invited to create work, share work, and in some cases teach courses at MCLA.
